HTC Desire C ICS Smartphone official with Specs and Price; releasing in JuneAs we expected, after a several leaks, HTC has officially announced the HTC Desire C Android Smartphone. The Smartphone was previously known as HTC Golf and Wildfire C but in a recent leak, it was confirmed to be named as Desire C. The Smartphone has usual HTC form factor and is somewhat tiny device.

The HTC Desire C is built with  a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 chipset and  a CPU clocked at 600MHz. The HTC Desire C features a 3.5″ LCD of HVGA resolution,  512MB RAM and 5MP camera with F/2.8 aperture and 34mm focal length. The Smartphone is running on Android 4.0 ICS with Sense 4.0 UI on top.

Moreover, the HTC Desire C features 4GB of built-in storage , plus 25GB cloud space from Dropbox for 2 years and microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 32GB. The connectivity includes 3G with 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0. The Smartphone gets juice from a 1230mAh battery. If you prefer a little advanced version of the Desire C,  there will be  an NFC enabled version when it hits the market.

The HTC Desire C will also feature HTC’s own beats audio  and the device will be available in Polar White, Stealth Black and Flamenco Red. The Smartphone was seen priced at r €200 in Romania and  €220  in Netherlands. In UK the JHTC Desire C is priced at  $275 (£169.99) off contract  and will be available from Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, Three, Virgin Media, O2, Phones4U and The Carphone Warehouse  in the UK. The HTC Desire C release date is set for June, but exact date is not revealed.
