Since ultrabook was introduced by Intel, companies are gradually introducing their own ultrabook cutting down the thickness at its best and carving awesome design for each new ultrabook. Here is new ultrabook from NEC named NEC LaVie Z.While most of the ultrabooks’ case are made of aluminum, NEC is using some premium materials like a lithium-magnesium alloy that makes the device more durable as well as light at 2.2 lbs.
The new NEC LaVie Z ultrabook is coming with a 13.3-inch screen and expected to be powered by Intel internals. NEC is mum about other features but as it is a new ultrabook it is likely to be powered by Ivy Bridge mobile chips.
Meanwhile, Asus has already announced that it will launch its Zenbook with Ivy ridge inside and the company has announced a new line of Zenbook UX32VD with discrete NVIDIA graphics and standard HDDs.
