Samsung to release dual-SIM Galaxy Ace Duos; Specs revealed
Samsung has announced international version dual-SIM mobile, Galaxy Ace Duos, the device is intended for international GSM markets with an entry level specs under the hood. A dual-SIM version of the device was first announced for Indian market a while go.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is powered by 832MHz processor, and features a 3.5” HVGA (320x480px) LCD screen, 5MP camera with VGA video recording, 512MB RAM, 3GB of internal storage and a microSD slot. The Smartphone gets its power from a 1,300 mAh battery .
The Samsung Galaxy Duo is as slim as the Galaxy Ace at 11.55mm thickness and weighs less than 10g. The mobile comes with ‘Dual SIM always on’ feature, so it automatically forwards calls from SIM 2 to the SIM 1 when the user is talking on SIM 1, no worries of missed calls. The Smartphone is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The new Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos will first be released in Russia in June followed by Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Middle East, Africa, and China. The Galaxy Ace Duos GSM+CDMA version is priced at $340 in India, but pricing for worldwide edition is unknown.
