Sony releases Android 4.0 ICS Update for Xperia Arc and Neo

Sony has finally started seeding the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to its  Xperia Arc and Xperia neo Android Smartphone. The update is coming after the company released the update for its Xperia Arc S and neo V in April.

The Smartphones will get the Android 4.0.4 with the kernel 2.6.32 and the update will boost the device performance with a support for full hardware acceleration. To make sure your update is available, check this page for the Sony Xperia Arc  and here for the Xperia neo.

Other Xperia Smartphones like Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Live with Walkman  may be getting the Android 4.0 ICS update starting this week.
