Sony VAIO T11 and T13 Ultrabooks unveiled; releasing this month
Sony has finally unveiled its first Ultrabook, the new ultrabooks named Sony VAIO T11 and T13, come with a unique design and slick magnesium and aluminum chassis. Sony VAIO T11 is 11.6 model while the T13 is 13.3-inch model and both will come with optional SSD storage.
Sony’s new Ultrabook is powered by Intel’s 2nd Gen Sandy Bridge processor starting with Core i3-2367M and Intel HD 3000 graphics and features 4GB of RAM, either HDD and HDD/SSD hybrid or full SSD storage . 13 inch model features display of a 1366 x 768 resolution.
The new ultrabooks also feature full-sized VGA, HDMI, ethernet ports, both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports along with memory card readers. Sony hasn’t revealed the Runtimes for the HDD and hybrid models, but the power-efficient SSD models are expected to last up to nine hours.
Sony also claims that the standby power consumption has been dramatically reduced and the new ultrabooks can stay in sleep mode for up to ninety days without running out of charge. The new VAIO T11 and T13 Ultrabooks from Sony have got inimitable style with buttonless trackpad. The 13 inch model measures at 226 x 17.8 x 323 mm and weighs at 1.6kg.
When it comes to pricing and the release date, SOny hasn’t revealed anything other than that the ultrabooks will go on sale later this month. Sony is expected to reveal the price and release date for the new Sony VAIO T11 and T13 Ultrabooks soon.
