Sony XPERIA GX and XPERIA SX LTE Smartphones official with Specs in Japan; releasing this Summer
Sony has unveiled its two new Smartphone on its Xperia lineup. The Smartphone dubbed XPERIA GX and SX are coming with LTE support and first heading to Japan. The Sony XPERIA GX is more like an Xperia ion with a 13MP camera while the Sony XPERIA SX is claimed to be lightest LTE Android Smartphone available in the market.
The Sony XPERIA GX is modeled after the XPERIA Arc and is early leaked Sony LT29i Hayabusa. The Smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, features a 4.6″ HD Reality display with Mobil BRAVIA engine, 16GB of built-in storage and 13MP camera with LED flash and HD vidoe recording. The XPERIA GX also features an HDMI port for FullHD video out. and running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS right out of the box. The Smartphone will be available in black and white.
On the other hand, the Sony XPERIA SX powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU features a little smaller 3.7″ Reality display. The Smartphone also sports 8GB of built-in storage, an 8MP camera and various Japan-only features, like an infrared port and mobile TV. The XPERIA SX will also be available in two colors, black and white and will be running on Android 4.0 ICS right out of the box. The Smartphone also feature HDMI output and and DLNA streaming.
Both Smartphone features LTE and go up to 72Mbps and will come with a Walkman app preloaded that features like clear stereo, clear bass, VPT surround sound, manual equalizer and xLOUD. Sony hasn’t revealed release date or pricing for the Sony XPERIA GX or SX hut all we know is that the Smartphones will be released in Japan in this summer. There is not details if the company plans to bring the Smartphones in other market in the world.
