The computer has no fans inside so it is always silent  but still works cool.

The VIA ARTiGO A1200  is powered by an 1 GHz VIA Eden X2 dual core processor and packs up to 4 GB of DDR3 SODIMM RAM, HDMI, VGA outputs  four USB 2.0 ports, a pair of gigabit LAN ports, dual comports, and one CFast socket. The device also features  a single interface for 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD.

The device is aimed at home or office use with several applications including operation as a home server, home automation controller, digital signage,  media streaming, or surveillance. The mini computer supports HD video including in  MPEG-2, DivX, WM9, VC1, and H.264 formats. The VIA ARTiGO A1200 mini computer can run on Windows 7 and Linux operating systems. Moreover, you have an optional Mobile broadband support. Pricing and the availability are yet to be announced.
