2012 Apple MacBook Pro releases; Specs and Price
Along with the MacBook Air 2012 and other products including iOS 6, Apple has announced the MacBook Pro 2012 at WWDC 2012. As we expected the MacBook Pro 2012 is coming with 15.4 inch high resolution retina display of 2880 x 1800p and density of 220PPI. Apple claims that the Apple MacBook Pro 2012 is the most beautiful computer that they have ever made.
One of the eye catching feature is it is 25% thinner than the current MacBook Pro and looks stunning in profile, coming in a 0.71-inches thick and weighing 4.46 pounds. Apple claims that the display is highest resolution on a notebook in the world and claimed to reduce reduce glare on the display by up to 75%. Moreover, the MacBook Pro 2012 has higher contrast ratio from average laptop and excellent viewing angle.
When it comes to specs, the MacBook Pro 2012 will come powered by a Core i7 quad-core processor up to 2.7Ghz, and sport 15.4 inch high resolution retina display, up to 16GB of RAM, as expected goodness of an NVIDIA GT 650M GPU and can be configured up to for up 768GB of SSD storage.
Connectivity include two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Thunderbolt, an SD card slot, and a new MagSafe 2 adapter reduced in size from current one. Other features for the MacBook Pro 2012 include a FaceTime HD camera, dual microphones, a backlit keyboard, and “the best stereo speakers” the company has ever introduced on a notebook according to Apple.
