Acer to release Aspire V5 Notebooks with Ivy Bridge in June; Specs and Price

Acer has added a new range of Acer Aspire V5 series, the laptops mainly targeted at students and those who need a budget-friendly laptop with Intel’s 3rd generation processor under the hood. There are two version of the V5 notebook that include the 14 inch model and 15 inch model.

Both Acer V5 14 and 15 inch models are relatively thin at .79 inches  and .83  and weighs a mere 4.6 pounds and 5 pounds respectively. when it comes to the processor speed, you have optional Intel Ivy bridge processor  that include Core i3 or Core i5 processors. Aspire V5 with Core i5 processor will get the Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 built into the processor to improve the notebook performance.

Both Acer Aspire V5 series models features a HD CineCrystal widescreen LED-backlit displays at 16:9 aspect ratio,  integrated Intel® HD Graphics 4000, High-Definition audio with Dolby Advanced Audio v2 delivering sounds through two built-in speakers,  a DVD drive and  generous 500GB hard disk drive .

Acer Aspire V5 Laptop also features Acer Instant Connect which automatically scans and registers most-visited Wi-Fi access points and other features include Bluetooth® 4.0+ HS technology, a USB 3.0 port  and an HDMI port. Acer Aspire V5 laptop price  starts at $629.99 and will be available starting at the end of the June.Acer Aspire V5 with second generation processors will be available for a price starting at $449.99.
