Android 4.1 Jelly Bean confirmed; launching at Google I/O?

It shouldn’t be surprise  if the Google has slipped the name of its next Android version as Google Jelly Bean, as we have already heard this. yes  It has almost been confirmed that the next Android OS will be called  Jelly Bean, and will have a version number 4.1. Getting closer to the Google I/O event that kicks off on June 27th,  we could hear more about the Jelly Bean soon.

The new leak suggests that HSPA+ version of the  Google Galaxy Nexus will be the first device to feature Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The descriptions appeared on Google Play site says “soon the first phone with Android 4.1 Jell…” . The site has also put up an image of Galaxy Nexus with some visual changes on the screen  indicating new wallpaper as well as a visually refreshed Google search bar on the homescreen.

It seems like the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be a minor update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. We should expect a major update with next Google Nexus Smartphone,  it is already in rumor mill with a name  Key Lime Pie, Android 5.0.  Anyway, at the Google I/O event, we expect both Android 4.0 Jelly bean and the first Google tablet with NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The Google Nexus tablet is rumored to be shipping now.
