Dell launches Inspiron 14z,13z,15R and 17R Laptops; Specs, Price and Release Date

Dell has introduced a series of ultrabooks and laptops on its Inspiron series that include Inspiron 14z, Inspiron 13z, Inspiron 15R, Inspiron 17R, Inspiron 15R Special Edition and Inspiron 17R Special Edition.  While the Inspiron  14z and 13z are ultra-thin ultrabooks are specially designed for students in this back to school season, while the Inspiron 15R and 17R series are  multi0media-friendly laptops.  The 15R and 17R Special Editions coming with more robust features for those who need a complete computing and immersive entertainment and multimedia experience.

Dell Inspiron 14z and 13z

The Inspiron 14z is second ultrabook edition from the Dell after XPS 13 and will be offered with a second-gen Core i3 processor but certainly you have an option to choose Ivy Bridge for your unit. The ultrabook price starts at $700. The Inspiron 14z  storage options range from a 320GB drive up to 500GB with a 32GB SSD and the design include  a disc drive.Inspiron 14Z scales at  4.12 pounds and measures at 0.83 thickness. The Inspiron 14z release date is set on June 19th. The Dell Inspiron 14z will be available in moon silver and fire fed.

While the Inspiron 13z is ultra-thin laptop that scales 3.81 pounds and 0.82” thickness and will be offered with Sandy Bridge processors with an option to choose Ivy Bridge if you want more power under the hood. The storage configuration is same as the Inspiron 14z and a battery lasting up to seven and half hours .The Inspiron 13z will be available in moon silver (standard), fire red and lotus pink.The Inspiron 13z price starts at  $600. Both Inpiron 14z and 13z have an optional mobile broadband with Dell NetReady mobile broadband service.

Dell Inspiron 15R and 17R

Dell Inspiron 15R and 17R are for those who need a better performance and multimedia experience (not an expensive one) that will be offered with an Intel second-gen processor while Ivy Bridge processors are offered as an options to choose from for your unit. The Laptops feature MaxxAudio 3 technology and up to 1TB of storage. The Dell Inspiron 15R and 17R also feature  a high-definition display and release date is set to June 19th with a starting price of $549.99 and $599.99.

Dell Inspiron 15R and 17R Special Edition

The 15R and 17R Special Editions are completely designed for full featured computing experience with high–end specs under the hood. The 15R Special Edition has an anodized aluminum lid and will be offered with a Core i5 or Core i7 Ivy Bridge processor  as well as an optical drive. Insprion 17R Special Edition also coming with a sleek and durable anodized aluminum exterior and optional a super bright 400 nit Full HD display or an optional Full HD 3D display. The Inspiron 17R also offered with optional mSATA SSD  with Intel Rapid Start Technology  for faster booting. Both  Inspiron R15 and R17 come with standard Full HD (1920×1080) displays. Both Isnpiron 15R  and 17R Special Edition also feature descrete graphics card from AMD and NVIDIA respectively.  Dell Inspiron 15R and 17R Special Edition prices start from $899.99 and $1,099.99  respectively while 17R Special Edition with 3D display is priced at $1,299.99. Both Ispiron 15R and 17R Special Edition release dates are set to June 19th in Canada and US.
