Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean official with new features; releasing mid-JulyGoogle has finally announced its latest version of the Android Google Jelly Bean, as expected the new version was announced at the Google I/O event and the version number is 4.1.  The new version of the Android has got many improvements as well as new UI and features. Let’s take a look at the features on the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

One of the main thing that Google has introduced on Android 4.1 is Project Butter that is focusing on Android performance . It improves the UI responsiveness making the  vsync of the screen at a constant 60 frames per second. Google introduced the project butter by showing two nexus Smartphone, one with Android ICS  and the other with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.  On the Jelly Bean version, the UI performance is even smoother than on the ICS.

While the voice typing was only available with internet connection, now it is also available offline along with improved keyboard input and extended dictionary. The voice type has been improved a lot with more accurate input fixing misheard words. The new Android ha got 18 more language support that include better Arabic and Hebrew support.

Other improvements on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean include camera functionality,  notification  and Google search. Now Android 4.1 has got a new UI and gesture features for snapping and seeing images. Now you can swipe the screen to access gallery, so you can easily manage images and delete them.

Notification bra has also got changes with more prominent looking clock  as well as allowing  notifications from various apps like Music, Pulse and Gmail without having to open.

Google search now support more natural  language commands just like on Apple Siri  and the Google Now is another feature of the Google Search that shows you public transport listings, flight information as well as sports results.

Android Jelly Bean developer SDK preview is now available  while the official release is expected mid-july when the Google Nexus tablet is also expected. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola Xoom will be the first to get the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
