Google Nexus Tablet reportedly shipping; lacks 3G or LTEOne of the next major announcement Android fans expect from Google is most anticipated cheap Tegra 3 powered Nexus tablet. The Google Nexus tablet has been on rumor mill for while and expected to debut at the Google I/O even that is getting closer. Now report comes that the nexus tablet has started shipping.

The report comes from DigTimes that citing the sources from their usual component makers. According to the reports, the tablet will lack in some features like rear camera and 3G or LTE connectivity, it is certainly to keep low price tag. Anyway, expecting all the features for a cheap Android tablet doesn’t make sense, and still you will get a faster processor inside.

Google Nexus will probably only feature a front-facing camera and Wi-Fi connectivity. It is believed that the ASUS has already manufactured the Google Nexus tablet. the company’s chairman Jonney Shih will also attend the Google I/O event to announce the tablet.

The report claims that the 7 inch Tegra 3 tablet has already started shipping and will go on sale in July. It is reported that at least 3 million units are expected to be shipped by the second half of this year. According to the sources,  ASUS will also be releasing its own 7 inch Android tablet for price of $159-179 .

Anyway, take it with a grain of salt, and all will be revealed on June 27 when the Google I/O Developer Conference kicks off .
