HTC to release Desire V and VC dual-SIM ICS Phones; Specs and Price

Finally HTC is also entering into dual-SIM device market, the company has announced its first dual-SIM Smartphones named HTC Desire V and Desire VC. Both smartphones are based on Android 4.0 ICS and spec-wise  the phones are mid-range.

Both HTC Desire V and VC are identical in terms of specification except for the network support, the HTC Desire V has a  tri-band GSM on its secondary slot and quad-band GSM/EDGE + dual-band HSPA on primary SIM-1 slot. while the Desire VC has a CDMA/EVDO phone with a SIM card slot for tri-band GSM support.

The HTC Desire V and VC are powered by a 1GHz Cortex-A5 processor on a Qualcomm MSM7227A chipsets along with  Adreno 200 graphics and sports  4.0 inch 480 x 800  display,  512MB RAM, a 5 MP camera with LED flash, a VGA recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, 4GB of internal storage and a microSD  slot.

Both HTC Desire V and VC are running on Android 4.0 ICS with  HTC Sense 4.0 UI on top of it and also features Beats Audio enhancements that we see on most of the new HTC Smartphones nowadays.

The HTC Desire V is priced at  $345 (€275) while the $318 (€253) for the Desire VC. The HTC Desire V is expected to be released in Asia in early July  while the Desire VC should be heading to China around the same time.
