Samsung has finally announced that it will be launching most anticipated Android smartphone Galaxy S III on 5 major carrier in the US. The Samsung Galaxy S III will be released in June with a price of $199.99. US version of the Galaxy S III include both LTE and HSPA+ model for respective carriers. Samsung hasn’t announced the exact release date for the Galaxy S III, but it will be announced by carriers in the coming weeks.
The Carriers include AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular. Even though we have already expected the four major carriers, US Cellular made it surprise.
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S III US version will come with dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor along with 2GB of RAM instead of the 1GB + quad-core Exynos 4 Quad processor. The reason for the processor change is its lack of support for the 4LTE .
The Samsung Galaxy S III will be available in two flavor of storage that include 16 and 32GB with microSD card slot for memory expansion and has a a removable 2100 mAh battery . Samsung has also said that the device will have customized services depending on carriers but it is not sure it will be limited to the network plans or ranging to software and hardware customizations. Now there is only one thing to know that is releases date and your choice of carriers will be announcing it soon.
