Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR and MAXX get Android 4.0 ICS Update
Verizon has finally started seeding Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to its flagship Motorola Droid Razr and Droid RAZR MAXX. The update started rolling out today and will be reaching users as OTA. The Update not only bring the 4.0 ICS but also enabling international roaming support on GSM networks for the DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX.
Recently, Motorola has released a bunch of videos introducing new features on the Android 4.0 Update. The update forthe Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX include features like face unlock, updated voice input options and a new video calling that brings a Video Calling hub with services like ooVoo and Tango.
The Android 4.0 oaks update for both Droid RAZR and MAXX will be rolling out in stages and select number of the owners will be getting the update starting today. The update will take you approximately 20 to 70 minutes depending on your connection speed.
To be bale to use the international roaming facility, you will have to activate an international plan. Droid RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX are the first 4G LTE Smartphones on the network to support global use.
