Archos to release Element Series ICS Tablets; Specs and Price
Archos has announced a new series of affordable Android ICS tablets. The new tablets are on its brand new series named Element that’s include 9.7″ , 7″ and 8 inches tablets with affordable price. All of the Archos Element tablets are coming with Android 4.0 ICS on board.
On the series, the first tablet is a 9.7″ Archos Carbon that is coming with somewhat neat specs, even though it may not be a splash compared to Google’s Nexus 7 or any other high-end Android tablets like Galaxy Tab 7. Anyway, the tablet is affordable with a price tag of $250. The Archos Carbon 97 tablet has a premium aluminum finish and a 0.45” thickness.
The Archos 97 Carbon is powered by 1GHz a Cortex A8 processor and features 9.7-inch IPS multi-touch screen with 4:3 aspect ratio and 1024×768 pixels and 1 gig of RAM. The Carbon ships with 16GB of internal memory with a microSD slot for the expansion of memory. There is an HDMI out port that lets you watch high resolution videos on big screen and a full-sized USB port.
and 8 inches tablets on the Anrchos element series are also coming with almost same specs besides changes in sizes, featuring an IPS screen, 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. The new Element series are slated to be available this July.
