Image of Canon EOS-M mirrorless Camera spotted; debuting on July 23?

It seems like the Canon is also finally prepping a mirror-less camera, while mirror-less camera becomes more and more popular with manufactures as well as consumers, it shouldn’t be a surprise. For more proof, there has been a leak of mirror-less EOS M series camera that is expected to come with a EF-M 22mm f/2 STM pancake lens and a new EF-M mount.

The image that  was sent to Canon Watch was spotted on an online store  and reportedly features  an APS-C sized sensor.  The APS-C sensor would make the included 22mm lens a 35mm equivalent. Anyway, more details regarding to the Canon EOS-M are yet to be available, but according to the Canon Watch, the Camera should be announced on Monday July 23rd.

Nowadays manufacturers like Sony, Samsung and Panasonic have started to push mirror-less cameras ,  and one of the major claim is that the mirror-less cameras can provide near DSLR quality in a smaller form factor. Sony recently launched its NEX-F3, with a 16.1-megapixel APS-C sensor with starting price of  $600.
