MSI CR41 Laptop with Ivy Bridge unveiled with full specs
MSI has added a new addition to its portfolio, the new device is a 14 inch laptop named MSI CR41 with an aesthetic design, coated in a royal bronze finish. The new laptop is best multimedia mobile companion for anyone who looks for a laptop with arrays of ports and connectivity features as well as powerful processor under the hood.
The MSI CR41 is powered by a Intel’s Ivy Bridge Core i processors and features 14 inch display with a 1,366 x 768 HD resolution, dedicated HM76 graphics chipset, and offers variety of storage options that include 500 GB, 640GB or 720GB.
The new MSI CR41 comes with an array of ports that include 2 USB 3.0 ports for faster file transfer, two USB 2.0 ports, an SD card slot, HDMI port and headphone jack. The MSI CR41 laptop also features an optical drive, SRS PC Sound and built-in webcam for your video calling purposes. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi b/g/n.
The MSI CR41 notebook gets its juice from a six-cell 4,400mAh battery with Turbo technology that lets you control an array of hardware that is not in use, including Bluetooth and wireless devices as well as your webcam, with a single click, and promised to last seven and half hours. The ability to control the hardware that is not in use will help extend the battery time by shutting off the devices not in use.
The laptop comes with a MSI S-Bar that lets you manage an array of OS programs and hardware as well as MSI’s own applications. It lets you control all system functions and applications such as software to save power and boost performance. It also lets you control MSI’s multimedia software, the webcam, the projector, the wireless, Bluetooth, volume control, screen brightness, and standby mode.
The MSI CR41 laptop measures 13.8 x 9.2 x 1.3 inches (349.7 x 234.8 x 32mm) and will come as Windows 8 upgrade-ready. Unfortunately, MSI hasn’t revealed anything about the release date or pricing, but expected to be released sooner than later.
