MSI to release RX-60, RX-120, and RX-240 SSDs; Details leak
MSI is well-knows for its motherboards, notebooks, desktops, and graphic cards, but now it seems like the company expanding its line with some SSD series. According to InsideIndustryNews who claims to have some inside info from MSI, the tech giant will be releasing three Solid State Drives soon, and the company is still working on SSDs.
According to the report, the SSDs include RX-60 (60GB), the RX-120 (120GB), and the RX-240 (240GB), and all of them are based on the SandForce SF-2281 processor. The MSI SSDs are expected to provide 6 gigabits per second of bandwidth.Some other details are on the screenshot,including read and write speed. All of the SSDs are coming with 2.5″ form factor.
It makes a lot of sense when a company like MSI enters to SSD drive business, more users are gradually turning to SSDs that enable faster booting and better performance. The MSI is world’s one of the largest motherboard manufacturer.
