NEC LaVie Z Ultrabook Specs, Price and Release Date official
We reported about the NEC lightest Ultrabook LaVie Z which was shown a few weeks ago, but when the NEC LaVie Z Ultrabook was unveiled, we didn’t have much details like price and availability as well as features other than it is powered by Ivy Bridge processor and housed in a premium materials like a lithium-magnesium alloy. Thanks to the NEC, the company hasn’t lagged much to reveal more details like price and release date.
The NEC LaVie Z is now touted to be lighter than early reported at 875 grams, the material -magnesium lithium alloy used to build the Ultrabook made it lighter and thinnest at 0.59-inch.
The NEC LaVie Z is powered by either a Core i7-3517U processor and 256 GB of SSD storage or a Core i5-3317U with 128 GB of SSD storage. The Ultrabook features 13.3 inch display with a resolution of 1600 x 900, 4 GB of RA, a 720p webcam and a Network Duet feature that lets you share data storage space with another machine on the network.
The NEC LaVie Z also features data storage space with another machine on the network. for connectivity. Other features include USB 3.0, SDXC slot, HDMI out and battery life of 8.1 hours. The NEC LaVie Z with base specs price is ¥130,000 ($1,600) in Japan while the high-end model has a price of ¥160,000 ($1,975). The NEC LaVie Z Ultrabook release date is August 23.
