Nexus S gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update

Finally, Google has started rolling out the Android 4.0 Jelly Bean for its flagship smartphone Nexus S. The 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update is rolled out for international market, and should be knocking your device soon with notification.

Google confirmed the rolling out of the Jelly Bean via Google + and Twitter.  And the list of carriers include T-Mobile, H3G, O2, Rogers as well as Vodafone, in most countries. The update is 114.4MB and the build number is  JEO03E.  An Android Police reader  reported to have got the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update.

The update should be available as OTA, and if you are impatient to get the OTA notification, try it manually and you can download the update from Google’s servers, make sure you are running a stock ICS ROM and have a custom recovery software like ClockworkMod. here is the direct download link to the Google’s servers for the update.
