Dell XPS Duo 12 Windows 8 Tablet shown off at IFA 2012

Dell has shown off its new hybrid device running on Windows 8 at IFA 2012. The new device is named Dell XPS Duo 12  and is coming with a rotating touchcreen display unlike original Inspiron Duo with rotating display. The tablet will  be running on full Windows 8 OS .

When it comes to specs, the company hasn’t revealed much about specs under the hood or price and availability. The Dell XPS Duo has a  swivel design on the display to allow it to switch between laptop mode and tablet. The Dell XPS Duo 12 features a 12.5″ display and expected to be powered by Inte’s 3rd generation Ivy Bridge processor under the hood.

The device is also slim and has a neat look  and is made of aluminum and carbon fiber with an expected weight about 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg). The device is all-in-one  on the go, but could be uncomfortable to use for a long time in tablet mode. Unfortunaely, no word on pricing and release date, but expected to be released by the end of the year.
