AT&T to launch LG Escape on September 16; pricing $49.99
As we expected, it didn’t take LG a long time to announce its new Android LTE smartphone. The smartphone named LG Escape which was leaked very recently has finally gone official with release date and price as well as availability. The LG Escape is pretty good-looking Android smartphone headed to AT&T’s fastest LTE network and will be available on two year contract.
In terms of specifications, the LG Escape is powered by a a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and packs a 4.3” qHD true-color IPS display with qHD resolution and Gorilla Glass protection, a 5MP camera on the rear side with capability of 1080p video recording, 1.3MP front-facing came for video call and 4GB of built-in memory on board.
The LG Escape is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board and gets its juice from a beefy 2150mAh battery. The smartphone also features NFC connectivity along with other usual connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0.
Along with many of the applications and features, the device also features innovative QuickMemo that enables you create and share personalized memos by writing messages or drawings on screen captures.
The LG Escape LTE Smartphone for AT&T only has a 0.3 inches thickness. The smartphone launch date is September 16 and will be available for a price of $49.99 with two-year contract.
