LG Optimus Vu II launched in Korea; Specs and Price

Only a couple of days ago we reported about the new LG Optium Vu II, next generation of the LG Optimus Vu which was released to rival Galaxy Note almost a 6 months ago. now LG has officially announced the LG Optimus Vu II and it is coming after the Samsung launched Galaxy Note II and should be having a head to head competition, comparing specs it may not be as impressive as Galaxy Note II though.

The LG Optimus Vu II is coming with the same 5 inch display with  1024 x 768 resolution and 4:3. The new device is powered by  1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960  processor from Snapdragon S4 series and packs 2GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera.

The Optimus Vu 2 also has a Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support and IR blaster functionality to use the device as a wireless universal remote control. The smartphone gets its power from a beefy removable 2,150mAh battery and will be running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box, but Jelly Bean can be expected as update.

LG hasn’t said when the device will hit other market around the world but Optimus Vu II will be available in Korea for an equivalent price of $864. The device comes in variety of colors to choose from including white and pink.
