Motorola ATRIX 2 gets Android 4.0 ICS Update

Motorola ATRIX 2 owners have a good news who have been waiting for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.  Motorola has officially announced the update for the once flagship device on the carrier with a docking station.

Even though the company had already hinted about the update, now it has been confirmed  and will be coming with usual Android 4.0 ICS features as well as some other improvements like enhanced Email app with address auto-completion, improved  camera  features with time-lapse video, snapshots during video recording, ability to use volume keys as shutter button and latest versions of AT&T apps.

The update comes with improved lockscreen to include quick access to dialer, text messaging, camera, and homescreen. The update also includes a redesigned keyboard for faster input accompanied by improved error correction and word suggestion.

The update will be rolled out as Over the Air ( OTA ). You should be notified once the update for your AT&T Motorola ATRIX 2 is available, you can also heck for the update manually by going to “About Phone” and  “System Updates”.
