Motorola RAZR M and Droid RAZR M announced; Specs, Price and Release Date
Along with the Motorola Droid RAZR HD and RAZR MAXX HD, the company has also announced couple of compact smartphones named RAZR M and Droid RAZR M. The smartphones are follow up the Motorola Droid razr series with almost same design with an edge to edge display and Kevlar coated back but rather compact than the original Droid RAZR series.
Specifically, both smartphones are powered by 1.5Ghz dual-core CPUs on powerful Snapdragon S4 chipsets along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphones will be running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box, but Jelly Bean is promised by the end of the year.
The Motorola RAZR M also features a 4.3-inch almost bezel-less screen with a 540 x 960 pixels resolution, an 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash, which is capable of shooting videos at 1080p, a VGA front-facing camera and 4.5GB internal storage plus microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Both Droid RAZR M and RAZR M get its power from a extra beefy 2000mAh battery. US version Motorola Droid RAZR M will be running on Verizon LTE network and supports quad-band HSDPA and quad-band GSM support. Motorola hasn’t revealed anything about the connectivity support for international version RAZR M.
Release date of the Motorola Droid RAZR M for Verizon is September 13, and available for pre-order at $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. The smartphone is anyone who is looking for smartphone with powerful specs inside at cheap price.
