Nokia to launch Lumia Flame WP8 in 2013?
Even before the announcement of the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820, there was rumor that Nokia was also prepping entry-level Windows Phone 8 smartphones with an expected launch in early 2013, and the first one to get into the rumor mill was a phone named “Zeal” with specification details, now new report says not only “Zeal” but also a new one named “Flame” will be there with almost same specs.
According to theVerge, the new Nokia Lumia Flame will come powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor along with a 512MB RAM and feature a little bigger display than on the ” Zeal”, 4 inch display, probably with WVGA resolution, not confirmed though.
The Lumia Flame WP8 smartphone also expected to sport a 5MP camera on the rear side and 4GB of internal storage with microSD card slot for expansion of the memory. It seems like when the Zeal and the Flame are released, these smartphones will take over from the Lumia 710, and we certainly expect more from Nokia targeting at the mid and low-end smartphone market.
There is also a talk about another device on the Lumia series, named Lumia Glory that will replace the Lumia 610. The device is reportedly to pack a 4″ screen, 800MHz CPU and 256MB RAM. Anyway, more details on the device is yet to be revealed, but it is also said to be a Windows Phone 7.8 device, not WP 8.
Three of the new Lumia series are expected to hit the shelves in the first quarter of 2013, but specific release date or price details are no available. Anyway, stay tuned we will keep you posted.
