Acer Aspire S7 191-6640, 391-6810 and 391-9886 Ultrabooks’ Release Date and Price official

Acer has finally announced release date and price details for its upcoming Aspire S7 Windows 8 Ultrabook  series. The third line of ultrabooks are Acer’s first of the bunch to feature touchscreen on board. As we would expect, Acer has set the release date for the devices to October 26, the day Microsoft Windows 8 launches.  Acer ultrabook lineups include Aspire S7-191-6640, Aspire S7-391-6810 and Aspire S7-391-9886.

Three of the ultrabooks are coming with 1080p IPS displays, 11.6 inch for Aspire S7-191-6640, 13.3 inch for Aspire S7-391-6810 and Aspire S7-391-9886.  Under the hood, the Aspire S7-191-6640 and Aspire S7-391-6810  have a Intel Core i5-3317UB CPU while the Aspire S7-391-9886 comes with Intel Core i7-3517UB CPU. All of these three ultrabooks pack 4GB of DDR3 RAM. The 13 inch models have Gorilla Glass protection while the 11 inch model features  an aluminum lid. An integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics are standard.

All of these ultrabooks  also features SSDs in different sizes, 128GB SSD on Aspire S7-191-6640 and Aspire S7-391-6810 while 256GB SSD on Aspire S7-391-9886. The SSDs are all arranged in RAID configuration, so you can expect a fast I/O speeds. There are also some ports, a USB, Ethernet adapter, a micro-HDMI and VGA dongle as well as a carrying case.

All of these Ultrabooks utilizes the Acer’s TwinAir cooling technology and built to work AcerCloud, which is free online storage service Acer provides and can be used with mobile apps on Android and iOS.

Acer Aspire S7 series Ultrabooks are super thin, Aspire S7-191-6640 measures 11.17 x 7.7 x 0.48 inches, while Aspire S7-391-6810 and Aspire S7-391-9886 measure 12.73 x 8.79 x 0.47 inches.

When it comes to pricing, you should certainly expect above $1000 bucks for each of them.The Ace Aspire S7-191-6640 comes with a price tag of  $1,200 while Acer Aspire S7-391-6810 and Aspire S7-391-9886 cost you $1,400 and $1,650 respectively.
