HP Windows 8 PCs and Tablets' Pricing and Release Date announced

HP has announced a slew of  PCs ahead of Windows 8 release.  Some of the devices are already available in the market with Windows 7, but now these devices are coming with enhancements and upgraded to support latest Windows 8 OS.  All of the new devices utilizes HP’s TouchSmart technology and feature  Snapfish. The company has also announced availability and pricing for the computers.

First of the lineup are consumer notebooks that include HP ENVY x2, SpectreXT  and HP ENVY m4.  The HP ENVY x2 is an ultrathin hybrid tablet PC with detachable keyboard. The device will be released in November 14 in the US, starting price is $849.99.  The HP SpectreXT is an ultrabook with TouchSmart technology featuring 15.6 inch IPS display of Full HD resolution. Release date of the SpectreXT is set in December and will be available for a starting price of 1,399.99. HP ENVY m4 is already available from Best Buy for a starting price $899.99. There are also other models, like the ENVY TouchSmart Ultrabook 4 with 14 inch multitouch HD display and subwoofer audio and has already gone for pre-order starting at $799.99. Finally The HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 and 15 models, available in the US, and start at $499.99 and $579.99.

Next series are all-in-ones and desktop computers. The range starts  from the HP ENVY 23, and ENVY 20 TouchSmart  with 23 and 20 displays. Both desktops feature a 10-point multitouch HD display, and now you can get the all-in-ones from the market for a price of  $999 and $799 respectively. The series also include the SpectreONE, a 23.6-inch non-touch AiO PC but actual release date is yet to be revealed, pricing starts from $1,299. HP also announced budget-friendly Pavilion 20 All-in-One, available i the market for starting at $449. Finally, there is ENVY Phoenix h9 desktop, this is specially designed for power-hungry users, and the price starts at at $899.

There are some Business notebooks as well, starting from EliteBook Folio 947m ultrabook that is anticipated to be launched on October 26, the say Microsoft launches Windows 8, fortunately we have price info, EliteBook Folio 947m starts at $1,049. Final one in the series is HP ElitePad 900, the only tablet after the hybrid laptops, the slate is designed for business users and comes with a free 50GB Box account. The tablet release date is set in January 2013, unfortunately HP hasn’t revealed exact release date or pricing of the tablet.
