Apart from HTC One X+, AT&T has also announced HTC One VX, a mid-end Android device with LTE support. The new smartphone will also be AT&T exclusive like the HTC One X plus LTE. It seems like AT&T and HTC have decided to make some powerful devices available exclusively via AT&T.
The new HTC One VX will be a budget-oriented device but that doesn’t mean, the device is not powerful enough to get things done. The device is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and packs 4.5″ Super LCD 2 qHD display, 1GB RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, 5MP camera on the rear side, VGA front-facing cam and 1810mAh battery. The device is coming with Gorilla Glass protection and camera is capable of continuous shooting at 4 frames per second. For connectivity, the smartphone features NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 along with other usual features.
In terms of software, the HTC One VX is running on Android 4.0, but promised to update to Android 4.21 Jelly Bean soon. The HTC One VX also feature Beats Audio. HTC One VX measures in at 9.19mm (0.36 inch) thick and weighs 4.4 ounces (124.7g). By specs, the device is pretty decent and you won’t have problems to get your things done.
Unfortunately, HTC hasn’t announced release date and price details for the HTC One VX, but expected to hit the shelves soon.
