Nikon has added new camera to its Nikon 1 camera series. The new camera named Nikon 1 V2  is more of  a departure from its predecessor,  and comes with new design and enhancements. The Nikon 1 V2 is an interchangeable-lens camera, despite new design, the camera still supports existing SB-N5 Speedlight, as well as the new, more advanced SB-N7 strobe.

The camera features 14.2MP lens along with 1.4 electronic viewfinder from durable magnesium alloy, a 3-inch 921k-dot rear LCD and dedicated Mode Dial with options for P, A, S, and M modes. Nikon 1 V2 is part of company’s advanced camera with interchangeable Lens System.

The camera features “astoundingly rapid autofocus,” and records videos at full HD resolution. The camera is capable of snapping stills up to 15fps utilizing autofocus tracking feature. If you opt AF-S shooting, speeds of up to 60fps are possible. The Nikon 1 V2 has an ISO rate of 160 through 6400.

There is an Enhanced Motion Snapshot Mode, that is a short 4-second slow-motion recording taken at the same time as a photograph. The camera also features Advance Movie Mode, that lets users to record full HD video and snap high-resolution images at the same time.

The new Nikon 1 V2 HD digital camera available in white or black and will be offered for a price of $899.95 with the standard 10-30mm kit lens, for $1,149.95 with the 10-30mm and 30-110mm lenses, and for $799.95 as a body only.  The camera will be launched by the end of  November, an exact release date is not available though.
