Nokia Lumia 510 to be released in November; Specs, Price

Finally, the Nokia Lumia 510 has gone official after many leaks and rumors. The device is an entry-level Windows Phone with a decent specs under the hood that targets at those looking for cheap WP smartphones. The device has a little bigger screen than the Lumia 610, and looks pretty neat in design and will be available in many colors.

The Nokia Lumia 510 is powered by a  a Snapdragon S1 processor and sports a 4 inch  WVGA TFT screen, a 5MP autofocus camera with VGA video recording  like on Lumia 610, with an f/2.4 aperture and wide angle 28mm focal length and  256MB of RAM.

The mobile has 4GB of internal storage,  non-expandable unfortunately and it is certainly a disadvantage, but fortunately all Windows Phone comes with 7GB of free cloud storage on SkyDrive though.

When it comes to connectivity, the device features 2G and 3G with HSDPA, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The device also comes with Nokia’s proprietary GPS-navigation apps, Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive. Unfortunately, the smartphone lacks NFC.

The Nokia Lumia 510 will be running on Windows Phone 7.5 at the launch and will be updated to WP 7.8.  The China and India will be the first to get the Nokia Lumia 510 in November, then the release will move to  the Asia-Pacific and South America. The smartphone price is $200 before taxes and subsidies.
