BlackBerry PlayBook 3G+ releases in UK; pricing £420

In spite of the brand new 4G LTE network in the UK, it seems like not yet time for RIM to bring its PlayBook 4G LTE device to the region, but it doesn’t mean, the company doesn’t want to offer its 3G+ PlayBook. RIM has launched its PlayBook 3G+ tablet, and available in single storage mode.

The new PlayBook is equipped with same 7-inch display of 1024 x 600 resolution and features a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, 3MP front-facing camera and HSPA+ connectivity.

The tablet is priced £420 ($690),  £30  more than the latest iPad mini with 32GB storage inside and same cellular connectivity. The tablet will face a tough competition in the market with other tablets like Google Nexus 7, Apple iPad mini and Amazon Kindle Fire HD. So which one are you going to buy?
