Kobo, the eReader manufacturer has announced two new eReaders set to be released in Japan soon. The new eReaders include Kobo Glo and the Kobo Mini. The kobo Glo suggests its features like glowing display, on the other hand, the mini is certainly a mini eReader and claimed to be smallest full-featured e-Reader to date in the world.
The Kobo Gloe features a 6-inch no-glare e-ink display with an XGA resolution, an adjustable embedded light, an SD card slot, and WiFi connectivity and full time access to Kobo’s eBookstore. The new Kobo glo eReader is promised to last one month at a charge.
The Kobo mini, the smallest one features a 5-inch no-glare display and can hold up to 1,000 ebooks. The Kobo mini is available in white and black.
Kobo has also announced pricing and release date for the new eReaders. The Kobo Glo is priced at ¥7,980 and set to be released on November 15th, while ¥6,980 for Kobo mini and will be released in December, no exact date mentioned. The company has slashed the price of Kobo Touch to ¥6,980 from it’s original price of ¥7,980.
