Microsoft released Windows Phone 3.0 for OS X; supports WP8

If you own a Mac and Windows Phone smartphone, most probably you use the app early known as Windows Phone 7 connector, now Microsoft has launched its new version replacing the name with Windows Phone. The app version is 3.0 that allows you to sync your Windows Phone smartphone with your Mac for easy file transfer.

The new version is coming with many new features and tweaks.  The new Windows Phone connector for Mac is minimalistic and easy to use. The enhancements and new features include supports Windows Phone 8, iPhoto 9.3.2 and Aperture 3.3.2, support for Retina display Macs, and battery charge monitoring for Windows Phone 8 smartphones. Mac users can now drag and drop files from your system to the device and vice versa, this feature saves much time.

You can also sync videos, audio and other data from iTunes to your Windows Phone smartphone. Photos and videos are synced using  iPhoto and Aperture library. The app has also got smooth interface  and using Windows Phone in Mac is far easier. The Windows Phone 3.0 for OS X is available from Apple App Store now.
