FAVI SmartStick for HDTV goes on Sale

Remember the FAVI SmartStick which was unveiled back in September?. If you are waiting for the device to ship, the time is up and the company has started to ship the FAVI SmartStick which has been on pre-order ever since it was announced.  The Android 4.1-powered stick was originally scheduled to ship in October, but the company had to extend the date a little.

The FAVI SmartStick now can be bought from the FAVI’s website in two variation, 4 and 8GB. The device is powered by an ARM Cortex-A9 @ 1GHz  with 1GB of  DDR3 RAM and offers  DLNA connectivity, device’s own MediaSHARE app, a standard headphone-sized audio port and a full-sized USB port.

The FAVI SmartStick helps you turn your HDTV into Smart TV enabling you to access all the online activities via Android OS. The SmartStick even comes with optional wireless Keyboard featuring a small track pad, control keys, such as Home, Back, and Search. You  can also use a mouse or wired keyboard.

The FAVI SmartStick comes in two flavors of color, black and white. The FAVI SmartStick with 4GB of storage has been priced at $49 while $79 for 8GB version.  The device is available from Amazon, Walmart, Tiger Direct, Gamestop, and Newegg as well as FAVI.
