Acer Iconia B1 Jelly Bean Tablet goes official at CES

Finally, Acer has unveiled its latest and cheapest Android tablet, the Acer Iconia B1 is a 7-inch Android tablet that can impress you with its price tag,  though the company hasn’t revealed its price details yet. Earlier rumors suggests a price less than $150.

When it comes to specifications,  there is nothing much to impress you  here, the device is powered by a dual-core MediaTek 8317 chip  clocked at 1.2GHz and packs a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 512MB of RAM, a 0.3MP front-facing camera and 8GB of internal storage with microSD card slot.

The Acer Iconia B1 also has Bluetooth 4.0  and will be running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS right out of the box. Anyway, the tablet with suggested price certainly attract many in some markets like India where Google Nexus 7 is priced $100 more than what the Iconia B1 is expected to cost. Acer hasn’t  revealed anything about its release date or exact pricing.
