Acer Liquid E1 Smartphone announced with Specs

Acer has announced a new Android smartphone today. The device dubbed Liquid E1 is a mid-end Android smartphone having a glossy and liquid design and looks neat and compact.

The Acer Liquid E1 is equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor and packs a 4.5-inch display of qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels), 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The handset has a 5MP auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP secondary camera for video calls.

The Acer Liquid E1 gets its power from a 1760mAh battery which Acer says good for 8 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby.  The device measures at 132 x 68.5 x 9.9 mm and weighs in at 130 grams. There is a microSD card slot for expansion of the storage  and array of sensors. Software-side, Acer has managed to keep up with the current standards, so the device is running on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS.

Unfortunately, pricing and release date for the Acer Liquid E1 smartphone are yet to be revealed, but expected to hit the market soon.
