Do you remember the ASUS Transformer AIO which was first brought by the company to Computex 2012?, You can’t have forgotten if you came to see it before . ASUS hasn’t given up the project and has brought it to the CES 2013 as well. The device is an 18.4 inch Windows -powered All-in-One desktop which transforms into a huge Android tablet once the display taken from the desktop docking station.
When it was introduced at computex, version of Android on the tablet was Ice Cream Sandwich but the company has upgraded it to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean now and for desktop, there is touch-friendly Windows 8 on board.
The All-in-One Transformer is powered by a third generation Intel Core processor wile the tablet by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra CPU and sports a an 18.4 inch HD IPS display and SonicMaster technology ensuring crystal-clear sound via an integrated speaker. The device is certainly interesting especially when we know that there are many people who want to use both Android and Windows on their system.
Anyway, ASUS hasn’t said anything on pricing or release date but we hope those details will be revealed soon, and you know MWC show in Barcelona is near.
