AT&T announces Pantech Discover for $50; Specs and Release Date
Looking for a budget smartphone with a cool design and top-tier specs ? then AT&T has announced a new Pantech Discover with a huge display and aesthetic and smooth flowing design . The smartphone will be sold for just $50 on contract.
The AT&T Pantech Discover is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Pro and packs a 4.8-inch 720p TFT display, 13MP camera on the rear side, 2MP camera on the front for video call and dual 3D surround sound.
The smartphone has 16GB of internal storage as well as a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB. Software side, the device is running on Android 4.1 Ice Cream Sandwich, but it could get an update in the future.
For connectivity, the Pantech Discover features GSM, EDGE and HSPA+ as well as LTE for faster internet experience on AT&T network. The smartphone also offers Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and DLNA wireless connectivity. The smartphone measures a 134.2 x 68.6 x 9.1mm and its body is a combination of plastic, metal, and glass.

The release date for at&t Pantech Discover is set to January 11 and will come per-loaded with AT&T DriveMode application, an app designed to help prevent texting while driving.
