Canon introduces VIXIA HF R42, R40, R400 and HF G20 Camcorders

Canon has brought a slew of camcorders for this CES 2013, along with several digital cameras, the company just introduced a series of camcorders for its VIXIA line.  The camcorders include The HF R42, R40 and R400 and all features advanced 53x advanced zoom.

The camcorders pack a 3.28-megapixel full HD CMOS image sensor and a DIGIC DV IV image processor and capture HD MP4s at up to 35Mbps and AVCHD progressive 60p recordings that tops out at 28Mbps. The Canon HF R camcorders also let users to remotely browse and download files via web  and comes with a softwares suite CameraAccess app  for both Android and iOS devices that lets you send videos top your smartphone or tablet. Users can instantly upload videos  to social networking sites through CANON iMAGE GATEWAY or share via email.

Canon VIXIA HF R42 has a 32 GB of internal memory  and VIXIA HF R40 camcorder provides 8GB of storage. All VIXIA HF R-series camcorders feature easy-to-use 3.0-inch capacitive touchscreen and high-capacity battery.

Canon has also announced a VIXIA HF G20 that features a 10x optical zoom and a claimed 12 hours of full HD recording. The camcorder is slated for February. The camcorder captures videos at 1080p resolution  and has an enhanced HD CMOS PRO Image Sensor, ensuring low-light performance by 20%  higher than its predecessor.

When it comes to pricing, the Canon VIXIA HF R42, R40 and R400 are priced at $499.99, $399.99, and $299.99, respectively  and release date is set in March while  $1,099.99 for VIXIA HF G20 and will be available in February.
