Canvas Maximo and Minimo Tablets announced; Specs and Price

The tablet market is getting even tighter with several new offerings from different companies and it seems like 7-inch tablet is most appealing to many consumers out there. Pardo Group has yet another 7 inch tablet to introduce for consumers looking for a cheaper Android device and new tablet series is dubbed Canvas Tablet.

The tablet is running in Android with full access to Google Play store and unlike many tablet out there, the tablets are mainly aimed at kids. The tablet includes Canvas Maximo and Canvas Minimo.

In terms of specs, the Canvas Maximo tablet is powered by an Allwinner A10 Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and packs a 7-inch display with  800 x 480 resolution. The tablet also features 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front-facing camera, 4 GB of internal storage and 512 MB RAM. For connectivity, the tablet has WiFi and it support 3G dongles with adapter. The tablet gets power from a 3000mAh battery.

On  the other hand, the Canvas Minimo is powered by a 1 GHz Allwinner A10 processor and sports a seven-inch screen with 800 x 480 resolution, 4 GB of storage, and 512 MB of RAM. The tablet lacks a rear camera while there is front-facing camera. Like the other one, the Canvas Minimo also feature WiFi and supports 3G dongles with an adapter.

Software side, the tablets are running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Canvas Maximo is priced at $125 while the Minimo at $100.
