Dell Inspiron R laptops get upgraded with optional Touchscreens
Computer manufacturers are upgrading their offers for a better experience of Windows 8, and Dell has announced low end Inspiron R series for Windows 8 with optional touchscreen. The models include 14, 15 and 17 inches and come with a little enhancements. The smaller version measures about an inch thick and weighs in at less than five pound.
In terms of specs, you can get the devices customized with Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, Intel Wireless Display and a graphics card either a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT640M or a 2GB AMD Radeon HD 8730M. But, if you are not for a high-end specs, you can choose a Core i3 or i5 processor or even celeron. For storage, the top-tier model supports up to 1TB but base model comes with 320GB of storage.
Inspiron 14R and 15R models feature 1,366 x 768 displays while the 17-inch is offered with 1,600 x 900 resolution display. If you want laptop with 1080p display, company also offers 15R- and 17R models with 1080p. Dell Ispiron 15R is offered for a starting price of $430 while the 17R for $500, but with a touch display, prices start at $650 for both the 14R and 15R.
