BlackBerry doesn’t want to keep things hidden anymore, so the company has finally announced global pricing and availability for the most anticipated BlackBerry 10 device, BlackBerry Z10. BlackBerry announced its new BlackBerry Z10 and Q10 a few hours ago and the smartphone will be heading to all major world markets including UK, Canada and UAE.
The UK will be the first to get the device, where the device will be available starting tomorrow and will be offered in both pay monthly contracts and Pay as you Go plans from all major carriers and retailers in the UK including EE, Vodafone, OS, BT, Phones 4u, 3UK and from the Carphone Warehouse.
Pricing for the smartphone varies based on carriers and retailers but offered fully subsidized by all carriers. The BlackBerry Z10 will be offered for free by Carphone Warehouse on contracts of £36 on all the major carriers. EE has it for you at £50 and a £41/month with 2 year contract, which bundles with 1GB of data, unlimited UK calls and texts. The Vodafone UK will be offering the device for a price of £29 and £42 monthly charge which gives you 2GB of internet usage along with calling and texts. If you are willing to pay £47 monthly, or £69 one-time payment on the £37 monthly plan, just get the phone for free and leave.
In Canada the BlackBerry Z10 is scheduled to be launched on February 5th. The device can be grabbed for a price of $149.99 on the usual 3 year contract. In UAE the device will be available on February 10 for a price of AED2,599. But consumers in US will have to wait till March for the BlackBerry Z10, in US the smartphone will be offered by all major carriers including Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. BlackBerry Z10 in US is expected to be offered for a price of $200 on two-year contract.
BlackBerry’s other device with QWERTY keyboard is expected to hit the market later in April but pricing and exact release date for the device is yet to be confirmed, but expected soon.
