HP introduces Envy 27, Pavilion 20xi- 27xi, U160, x2401 and ProDisplay LED Monitors
At this CES, HP has come with a slew of Windows 8 PC monitors with different display technologies. The company has introduced its 5 new monitors featuring impressive LED, IPS, and ProDisplay monitors and almost all of them will be available around the end of January. The monitors include 27″ Envy 27, Pavilion 20xi-27xi IPS monitors, HP U160, HP x2401 and HP ProDisplay LED backlit line.
First we have the HP Envy 27 monitor with aesthetic design featuring vivid 27-inch IPS LCD panel and thin bezel. The monitor is protected by edge-to-edge hardened glass that also makes it extra glossy. The monitor offers a full 1920 x 1080p HD resolution and has built-in Beats Audio stereo speakers angled upward that deliver great midrange and high frequencies, with equally rich bass. The new HP Envy 27 is priced around $499 and release date is set to February 3.
Up next is the Pavilion 20xi-27xi IPS monitors featuring similar edge-to-edge bezel free design and will be offered in 4 variants that include 22xi, 23xi, 25xi, and 27xi. All models will offer full HD 1920×1080 resolution along with other connectivity features like VGA, DVI-D and HDMI connectivity. The IPS panel on the monitors makes sure 178-degree viewing angles and excellent colors. The Pavilion Xi monitor prices range from $129 to $339 and all are expected to hit the market by the end of January.
Next we have the HP x2401 24-inch LED Backlit Monitor with an alluring form factor. The monitor features 24-inche LED display, MVA panel in stead of IPS that produces wide viewing angles for vivid, consistent color. The monitor features an adjustable easel stand and L-connectors to keep cables in the back for a clean look and Connectivity include DisplayPort and HDMI and support for mounting the display, VESA-style. And certainly the monitor will offer stunning 1080p Full HD resolution with 178 degree viewing angles and 5000:1 contract ratio. The HP x2401 monitor will be available in a brushed aluminum finish and priced at $249, but unfortunately, you will have to wait till November if you are planning to get this one.
Looking for a portable monitor with carry case?, then the HP U160 is certainly for you. The monitor features 15.6 inch LED Backlit display, a built-in stand that doubles as a carry case and is ideal for those who need a portable monitor on the go. The monitor is only 1.02 inche thin and weighs around 3.4 lbs. The HP U160 portable;le monitor is expected to be released in January for price of $179.
Last but not least, we have new HP ProDisplay LED backlit monitors. The model c0mes in different sizes that include 18.5, 20, and 21.5-inch inch models, named P191, P201 and P221 respectively. The monitors offer 250 nits brightness, 1000:1 contract, 3M:1 DCR, 5ms response time, and 170/160 viewing angles. The all monitors keep traditional design and can be adjusted 35-degrees of tilt and 90-degree pivot modes for multiple uses. The new HP ProDisplay LED backlit monitors are priced at $129-179 based on size. HP will certainly have more at this CES, so stay tuned.
