LG has unleashed trio of monitors dubbed EA93 UltraWide Monitor, EA83 ColorPrime and ET83 Touch 10 Monitor. First two are non-touch monitors while the later one is designed with touchscreen optimized for Windows 8. All features IPS technology and LG claims that “our refined IPS technology is better than ever this year.”
The EA93 UltraWide Monitor is as name suggests ultra-wide with 29-inch diagonal screen. The monitor features very thin and immersive bezel and offers 21:9 aspect ratio. The monitor is also aimed for hardcore multitasking, the monitor comes with 4-Screen Splitfeature that divides UltraWide’s screen into four sections, so need to manually resize the screen. The new LG EA93 UltraWide Monitor can also connect to other devices like notebook, smartphone, camera, external hard drive, etc.
Next we have the LG EA83 ColorPrime which is a aimed for professionals like photographer or designer and it offers Wide Quad High Definition (WQHD) resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The monitor is promised to reproduce wide color palette with 100 percent of sRGB and 99 percent of the Adobe RGB specification. The monitor comes with hardware calibrator in addition to True Color Pro calibration software. The monitor can also be rotated 90 degrees.
Finally there is LG Touch 10 Monitor comes optimized for Windows 8 OS with “Modern UI”. The LG Touch 10 Monitor sports a 23″ diagonal Touch 10 screen and offers 10 finger multitouch as its name suggests. The monitor requires no special software.
Anyway, LG hasn’t said anything on its pricing and release date, but expected to release new LG monitors soon
