At Detroit Auto Show Lexus lifted the curtain of its latest sport sedan on its IS series.  The new models debuted ahead of its worldwide launch this summer.  The models include Lexus IS 250, and IS 350 and will be offered with an initial choice of two gasoline engines.

Design-wise, the new IS series have a brand’s trademark spindle grille and the odd-looking headlamp clusters with “Nike” logo-shaped LED accents sitting on the bottom. For the first time, Lexus IS models will get an F Sport trim benefiting from both unique sporting design features inside and out and enhanced driving dynamics.

The new IS models offer a new Drive Mode Select system, switchable into Eco, Normal, & Sport. Spec-wise,  the Lexus  IS 250  and  IS 360 are powered by a 2.5-liter V6 gas and a 3.5-liter V6 gas engines respectively. For interior, the new IS models feature refined cabin materials, trims and finishes and the company  has added new technological features.  The new models have a wider body at 0.4 inches and longer wheelbase at 2.8-inches.
