Nokia EOS to be the first real PureView Windows Phone

Nokia EOS to be the first real PureView Windows Phone

Nokia introduced its first PureView technology with Nokia 808 PureView featuring 41MP camera on the rear side and later came the Lumia 920 as Windows Phone to rock PureView technology but  If you are not satisfied with megapixel of Lumia 920 PureView camera,  Nokia is preparing a Windows Phone to be truly worthy of PureView branding after 808 PureView.

The smartphone is reportedly codenamed Nokia EOS  and will come with a new industrial design and almost similar sensor found in the 808 PureView smartphone. The smartphone will have aluminum casing instead of Polycarbonate body found in Lumia series and will supposedly have “squared edges”, indicating almost similar design to the Lumia series.

It is no sure what exactly means by similar sensor to that of 808 PureView but we could expect a device with CMOS having amazing pixel density. Comparing Lumia devices to PureView 808, Lumia devices are more compact and slim, but due to the high-pixel density and oversized chip, Nokia 808 PureView  turned out to be a hefty device. I think it may not be the case when it comes to Lumia devices with similar PureView sensors, Nokia should be able to reduce the chip size and produce smaller version of 41-megapixel sensor. There is report that the device may have 38MP camera.

What the source has confirmed is that the new Nokia EOS Windows Phone will be heading to AT&T, that is not at all a surprise as we know ever since Lumia series were introduced, Nokia has had close connection with the carrier. Anyway, if the source is reliable, we must see more of the Nokia EOS WP smartphone, till then stay tuned.
