Nokia starts seeding Windows Phone 7.8 Update to Lumia Smartphones
After a long wait and rumors, the Windows Phone 7.8 update for all Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 7.5 devices has started to roll out. Even though the update has already been already pushed with recently shipping Lumia 510 phones, now the update is being delivered for masses. A while ago there was also a rumor that the update was being rolled out but Windows Phone 7.8 update release was indefinitely delayed.
The update brings a host of new features that include a brand new homescreen with more customization options, camera extras, new lock screen options and more theme colors and a host of performance enhancements.
The Windows Phone 7.8 update should getting soon to Nokia Lumia 510, Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and Lumia 900.
The update is not delivered over-the-air, so you will have to update your device through Microsoft Zune for PC or the Windows Phone app for MAC.
